Dave Sibley

Working at the forefront of pay-TV and digital media, Dave Sibley’s responsibilities include the strategic direction and overall management of MTV Network’s bouquet of channels in Australasia. Under Dave’s 3 year leadership, the network has grown to comprise MTV, VH1, TMF, Nickelodeon & Nick Junior in Australia, and MTV, Nickelodeon & Comedy Central in New Zealand.

Having created a ‘house of media brands’ with the ability to target a spectrum of demographics including kids, young people, older music fans and comedy lovers, Sibley’s priority is to continue to refine, develop and expand the organization’s portfolio of TV channels, franchises and auxiliary online and mobile business operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Joining MTV Networks International in 1996 as Head of Sponsorship & Event Marketing for Europe, Sibley was credited with evolving the team into a global full-service sales and creative unit, with hubs in London, New York, Tokyo and Seoul. He left London in 2006 as SVP Marketing Partnerships to move to Australia.

Prior to joining MTV Networks Europe, Sibley was Associate Director at London-based through-the-line agency Stretch, and prior to that played a marketing role at fashion brand Pepe jeans.

Dave spends his spare time playing hip-hop to his 5 year old daughter.
