My current job is.. keeping Foxtel informed of consumer and market trends that influence and challenge what we think and what we do.
My first job was.. working in a dairy in NZ. Ice-creams, lollies, newspapers and soft drinks were the big ticket items.
At school I was known for.. being the town’s police sergeant’s daughter! It was a small town with one high school. You couldn’t get away with anything under those circumstances.
The TV show I can’t miss is.. Wentworth. It keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait for the new season. I’ve also just started GOT. In the middle of season 2 and it’s brilliant.
My secret guilty pleasure is.. time to myself to do whatever I want. As a mum of two little ones that doesn’t happen very often. Switching off with a glass of wine and an episode of ‘say yes to the dress’ at the end of a long day will do me nicely thank you.
It’s not cool but .. I want to learn to play the piano. I love music. Going to see live bands is one of my favourite pastimes. It has been since my first live concert, Guns ‘n’ Roses, when I was 15.
Friends say I.. am honest, kind and determined. I always keep in touch and I LOVE to chat. I’ll talk to anyone about anything…
The new TV show I’d like to commission is.. anything with engaging characters. Think Franky and Bea in Wentworth, Frank and Claire Underwood in House of Cards, Will McAvoy and Mackenzie in the Newsroom.
The thing I most love about our industry is.. the diversity and passion of the people who work in it, the changing and challenging environment and the way we keep making TV a better experience.
