When I’m not at work I spend my time… catching up with friends and family over a good meal, cycling, contemplating going to the gym, watching TV, reading and hanging out with my fiancé and cat Pierre.
The person that most influenced my decisions in life when I was younger was… my mother. She inspired me to be considerate, honest, enjoy life and have a sense of humour, plus being an English/drama teacher, she fuelled my passion for writing, the arts and entertainment.
The last interesting book that I read was… The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga.
My first job was… Woolies check-out chick, apparently I had the best scanning rate! First professional job was a theatre publicist.
My guiltiest pleasure is… caramel slice and cheese, but not consumed together of course.
At school, I was known for… being Mrs Miller’s daughter – my mum taught at the school I attended.
My favourite movie of all time is… Wings Of Desire if I want to sound intellectual but honestly, When Harry Met Sally.
I know it’s not cool but I love… my fluro bike helmet from childhood and Lionel Richie.
One of my favourite series on STV is… apart from Man Vs. Wild and Man Vs. Food, Sex And The City.
The person I most admire is… my wonderful friend Janeece who is inspiring to me because she had the confidence to start her own business, takes part in loads of tough charity challenges and still has time to be an amazing friend.
My friends say that I… make a mean spanakopita and that I need to clean my desk.
My hope for the future is that… my friends and family are happy and healthy….and that it doesn’t rain on my wedding day!
