My first job the local fruit shop. I could remember the price of all the produce and it changed daily. A perk of youth! First job in TV was at Nat Geo in London.

I have been greatly influenced in life by... travelling. I do have that familiar wanderlust at the moment again for new experiences, culture shocks and culinary delights.

When I'm not at work I spend time... wishing I still went out dancing. I miss it and no one dances at parties anymore.

The last interesting book that I read was... Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald (Therese Anne Fowler). A fabulous romp through the hedonistic and bohemian lifestyles of the literati in the 1920s.

At school, I was known for... always talking in class

My guiltiest pleasure is... cheese

My favourite movie of all time is...The Year My Voice Broke, closely followed by Zoolander.

I know its not cool but.......I love camping. Great times with family and friends in the bush and belly laughs around the campfire.  Last time we talked doomsday prepping for hours. Who knew my seemingly normal friend was quite so obsessed.

One of my favourite series on STV is...  Game of Thrones but I could watch re-runs of Spooks endlessly.

My friends say that I...still talk too much (but I hope I’m getting better at listening too)

My hope for the future is that... that they don’t dredge the Great Barrier Reef before my daughter, whose ambition is to be a marine biologist, gets to snorkel there.
