John Luscombe General Manager and Executive Vice President, Beyond Productions. Originally a producer and director at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation with credits covering children’s programming, documentary, live outside broadcast and science magazine, John joined Beyond in 1984 to produce the award-winning Beyond 2000 series. After Executive Producing a number of other successful series for the Company such as Just for the Record and Invention, John was appointed Head of Production in 1996 and then GM & EVP, Beyond Productions. His Executive Producer Credits cover over 2,000 hours of programming for cable and network broadcasters in Australia and the rest of the world including the Primetime Emmy nominated MythBusters (TDC), Taboo (Nat Geo), Deadly Women (Investigation Discovery) and Selling Houses Australia (Lifestyle Channel).
