Nikki Warburton

Nikki is a highly experienced Senior Executive with a strong track record of delivering tangible business results across a range of industries from automotive, advertising to Subscription TV. Nikki is currently an Executive Patron on the Taronga Zoo Foundation Board and a Director of the SHORE Foundation. She also consults to businesses on Brand and Marketing strategy.

Nikki has over 20 years experience in participating in Executive teams and interacting closely with Boards either on them or reporting to them.

In addition to her achievements, the most important attribute of Nikki’s success is that the roles have been ‘transactional’ based with a direct correlation between strategy, execution and sales.

In her 11 years at AUSTAR she was part of the Executive team that took AUSTAR from a challenged business to a Brand and Business worth over $2B. This included building the customer base to over 750,000 customers. Whilst in her role at AUSTAR she was awarded with 8 ASTRA Awards for most effective and outstanding consumer campaigns to drive sales, retention or community connection.

Nikki was the youngest ever General Manager of Marketing for an Automotive Brand in Australia at 21 years of age where she worked for Astre Automotive (importer of Hyundai, Chrysler Jeep and Audi) taking Hyundai to the number 1 importer in the country. Nikki was also the first female General Manager at an Automotive Company in Australia.

In each role, Nikki has been instrumental in defining and building brands, designing a consumer centric product range, managing customer and advertising communication and running internal morale.

Nikki is very passionate about keeping fit and healthy and last year completed the New York City Marathon and also took part in 3 Half Marathons prior. She also enjoys competing in Triathalons in her spare time.

Nikki is excited to be involved in the ASTRA Women’s Menotring Program as throughout her career has had many inspirational mentors.
